its been one week since i touched blogger.
anw, now with projects and stuff, i dont think anyone will read my blog.
dont see the point of updating.

anyway, after reading some stuff on the rape of nanking, i feel so unjustified for the victims, especially the woman. how can the Japanese actually finish them off after raping them? Believe it or not, even the officials partcipated in these activities.

"Between December 1937 and March 1938 at least 369,366 Chinese civilians and prisoners of war were slaughtered by the invading troops. An estimated 80,000 women and girls were raped; many of them were then mutilated or murdered.

Thousands of victims were beheaded, burned, bayoneted, buried alive, or disemboweled.
To this day the Japanese government has refused to apologize for these and other World War II atrocities, and a significant sector of Japanese society denies that they took place at all."

the fact that the Japanese government refused to apologise for the atrocities really pissed me off. i mean, how can they do so much harm to this innocent group of people and then walk away pretending that this is none of their business, even to the extend of denial? like c'mon la, there are tons of records to show that you were the ones who commited all these crimes, so stop denying before the whole world looks down on you.

and the worse thing is that, they pass the totally wrong information to the next generation. i remember my teacher telling me that there was this tour guide from Singapore bringing a group of Japanese to the national museum. Guess what? they had no idea that their forefathers brought trauma and harm to OUR forefathers. In fact, they learnt that the Japanese came over to set the Asian countries free from liberation. I think they were shocked that they have been actually believing in a lie all these while.

now i want to conclude that if you have any Japanese friends, dont shun them cause it's not their fault. it's their forefathers' fault. and if they dont know the truth, please share it with them. =D

im feeling so much better now. (:
