4 more days :DD

megalife service was just as good today(: yes medan team made a difference in medan! thank God for that! so many people received salvation and everything, even a deaf&mute man could say "Jesus" after the team prayed, all God's glory! indeed, God's works are miracles, yay! :D

I wanna recieve Janel and the team on the 20th!! hopefully mother and father will allow :D it's so late at night, pray God will give them the assurance and trust that I will be safe in the protection He will provide me at the airport! yay! I wanna watch "passion of the christ" again. will bug janel about it when she comes back from medan :D

there was once a boy who loved his father a lot and vice versa. the boy had a bag full of colourful marbles, but there was a particular marble which he loved the best - the BLUE marble. one day, his father approached him and said, "Son, do you love me?"

"Of course I love you daddy," replied the boy.

"Ok, since you said you love me, will you give me what I ask you to?"

The boy nodded.

"Son, to test how much you love me, I want you to give me the marbles which you like."

The boy took pretended not to notice his favourite marble and took all his other marbles and handed them to his father, only leaving the blue marble in the bag.

"Son, I don't want these marbles, I want that blue marble."

The boy's heart skipped a beat. His father had just asked him for the one and only marble he loved the most. After debating in his heart, he decided to give his blue marble to his father - becuase he knew he loved his father a lot.

"Son, actually I know how much you love me. But because you have handed me your blue marble, you now know how much you love me. You can have your blue marble back."

this morning, I was just thinking about how close friends can be separated physically due to different interests in education. like how janel, kim, lxq, joycelee, sha, raman, nat, navina will be separated from me next year because of the different subject combinations and janel's IP programme. it's actually kinda sad to think how we may drift apart next year. of course, separation is inevitable. and i've finally found the link between today's sermon and this situation(: "To test our love for Him(God), He may take away what seems very important and what means a lot to us (eg. a friend, a sentimental gift etc.). But, God will always return what He took away from you if you 'pass' His test. By just submitting to Him in faith & perseverance, we'll know how much we love Him." see how this relates to the story above?

like what kim said, "If you love something a lot, let it go. If it's meant to be yours, it'll return to you." It may sound cliched and all, but if you think about it, dont you think it's true? yes I agree with this statement, and I believe that God will put us all together again in the future, somehow or another through His great works(: yay :D
