U-TURN!
just came back from camp :D
and my life, although it has made a u-turn before the camp, it has indeed caused other fellow christians to turn back! and thank God for that, truly(: ok i shall blog about what happened!

Day 1
went to church feeling excited and nervous. was almost late, although I left the house super early. registered, got my camp t-shirt. then went to sit down, feeling really left out because most of the people in my group were guys. then tried to talk to the girls. they were shy! haha. then steph my ATL came. talked to her, cause we were quite close. then it was time for ice-breakers. played whacko! it was fun! because we kept calling Joel's name and he was making a lot of noise. haha. then it was time for all the campers to gather. we played this "shoe" game, really lame lah. then it was time for us to leave BPMC.

ok, in the bus. charleen tried to make us sing songs like "rejoice" and all. but only the buay hao bai guys sang. made friends with WAI IAN! <3 haha she's from rgs, and nope, she's not snobbish, she's one of the most outgoing girls I've seen. NICE! we talked about school, rgs mainly. haha and she know's who's xiner and lihui! yay! the talked a lil bit to joseph, david yong and daniel chong. and we reached sentosa, the SU campsite. everyone gathered at the hall of worship and the SU campsite, and it was time for bunk allocation. whee, thank God zhimin and I were in the same bunk! like double yayness! 'cause we could talk at night! (: so we went to our bunks, unpacked and gathered for games. JOEL is the funniest man! :DD oh we had food games, we were supposed to eat and eat and eat, but all the smart people like me nicole and lynette spat out everything. but hey! the fishballs were good to eat! :D haha everyone wanted a second go at it.

ok after all the games (food games and treasue hunt), we had our meals, and then we went for P&W at night! SUPER PACT worship, like WOOHOOO! I just felt like jumping and praising God, but didnt): then "so you would come" was played. i cried uncontrollably! and was crying out, because images from passion of the christ kept flashing in my mind. then altar call came. LIKE PTL! becuase so many non-chistians came out, and yes, my prayer is answered - more people had their names recorded on the book of life! God is just so great. kneeled down and worshipped HIM! wheeeeeeeeee. then cyrus asked for those who had burdens and troubles before thay came for camp. samuelyong raised up his hand. i prayed for him so passionately, and cried out to God. then i stood up. but no, i felt it wasnt enough because I forgot to pray for smth - his relationship with justin. so i just cried out to God and asked to help reconcile him and justin. i thought it had worked, but nah, samuel yong just couldnt talk to justin yet! eeeee! but nevermind, i still thank God for everything, and for answering most of my prayer requests on Day 1.

couldnt go to sleep that night, still feeling excited over worship. talked to zhimin and elke. elke is nice ok! but sadly, she had to leave on day 2 for prom night): and i had to do QT the next day because lights out by 11.30pm. oh well. set my alarm at 6am and went to bed after thanking God for the great time of worship.

Day 2
was scared by elke 'cause of her long hair. woke up to do QT. then talked to zhimin about lotsa stuff. gathered, had our meals and all. nicole told me that I was compatible with _____. haha i was shocked lah! then team time we discussed about our play, then that joel assigned me to be GHANDI! like what? but nevertheless, I loved the role(: joel siao lang, say I look like the female ghandi! HAWHAW. worship was not as good as the day before, but still, I prasied God and worshipped Him, and talked to the girls and guys who finally opened up(: we became closer, i guess :D

night games - it rained, so benchong and danielle came up of this lame game, making up letters using our bodies. yup, so we ran up doing the letters they asked for! haha then the rain stopped, God's grace! 'cause many of the game-masters prayed(: yup, so we could carry on with the night games. it was this game called "radioactive worms", lame lah! haha the radioactive worms were actually light sticks. think they spent about 100 bucks on those things(: i kept beating nat(everyone calls her tash because she's natasha, but i call her nat!) in scissors paper stone and managed to take 2 worms everytime :D i cheated when i was not supposed to): but yeah, God forgave me and I faced the consequences lah. oh well.

sharing - I went on stage to share how great God has been and will be, thank God for blessing me with a wonderful team who opens up and all. then cyrus closed and we all went to bed. since elke already left, zhimin was our new bunk ic. woah! I dint know my bestfriend is scary when she scolds! hahah.

lights out - talked to zhimin about lotsa stuff. like how J was being such a jerk and all. yup. then somehow linked to talk to God, and singing His praises(: whee, then went to bed(:

Day 3
woke up thinking of my bed at home(: hee, looking forward to the great day ahead. gathered again, then had worship. then went for games. Treasure hunt part 2. carried out all our jobs properly, managed to solve 4 out of 5 clues(: yay, thank God for that too. and thank to horeb for being so enthu((:

went back to campsite with team teberah. admire joseph for his courage and God-given talents to lead the team when elke is not around. was late for abt 15 mins. kebar river was first; they managed to do all the clues(: good for them(: haha. had team-time after dinner, finalised our play and all(: practised. joel pro joker lah, he decided to do impromptu, applaud him for his courage(: then it was time for the concert, we saw all the other teams performing. wah, then devil tried to snatch the confidence we had in us): oh well, but i still think we did a great job, cause justin and joel were there. AND THE expression-less BROOM TREE too. thanks a lot gideon! hahahah.

then came worship! once again, it was like day1. altar call, went up to pray for zhimin! yay. then jumped and danced for God! haha. then when we were singing, DJ who was leading suddenly zao xia! HAHAH funny lah that guy! oh wells, once again, images from passion of christ came back to my mind. yup, worshipped in broken-ness, whee.

sharing - EMO! so many people opened up, people like JB, Joel, Jon. wah all the J people! haah. prayed for them, and when jon's turn came, I cried. God is moving, HE IS! And I love all those people, and God loves them and me too! :D God's love is SOOOOOOO great! (:

last night already what, tradition to stay up the whole night. yup. zhimin and I found a place to sit down, then i put down my stuff to go find nat samlee and val to play bridge. haha we won thanks to val! then left the banquet hall, went back to quiet place. then saw one big grp of pple there, ended up playing games. wah DJ funny guy again, can remember things like e=mc-square, but cant play simple games like the animal game and all. hahaha. then we played hand games, steph and DJ sabo-ed phileo. haha. then steph had to leave, then everyone else left too. so I went to write letters. and talk to jiaqi and zhimin. both of them still look cute in glasses lah! serious! (:

then nicole and lynette came along, asked me for markers to design letters for the grp, so sweet of them. (: haha then phibert and gideon came along, funny lah gideon. haha then he went to write funny messages on our notes! like what, he thought i was ATL can? but it was actually stpeh. heh. then JB came along, comforted him and all. haha. then talked to the guys who came along, that's why took around 1hour to finish bimbo's letter. then my body couldnt take it. slept at 7, woke up at 8-plus :D whee.

Day 4
woke up at 8-plus. cleaned up and all, was feeling ok. then time for worship, although I was lethargic, kept telling myself to give God my all. yes, then my team and I had our last meals together. was feeling a bit bu-she-de. yup. team-time, we talked. then I said maybe one day nicole and joel will marry each other one day. then gideon called me a nigger! LIKE WHAT! then joel said if he ever marries nicole, I'll marry and banglah! like what! so much for being ghandi! haha.

then said bye to the campsite and left): then ended up in the same bus as all the funny guys and nice girls <3 talked to steph. then suddenly all the funny guys (who were at the back) started being emo-kids! sang backstreet boys, then broke up into songs like "breaking free". haha steph and I decided to listen to goong! GOONG! haha then we tried to sing along, like stpeh is good at it man! hahah. she could sing every korean work properly! perfectionist! haha. then sang HSM nicely, not like the guys! time flies so quickly, we reached BPMC before we even knew it): had our last de-briefing and gave 3 cheers to God for making the camp a huge success! <3 (:

PTL! I love God truckloads, and I will die for Him when the need comes. Mark my words, and my only fear is that I'll back out when the time really comes. Im sure God will give me the courage that I need <3
